I am writing to vigorously support the participation of V. Mylo Schaaf, MD in your proposal to develop a 
tablet-based web resource for UCSF students and residents doing global health work around the world.  When 
you first contacted me about doing this as a collaboration with Global Health Sciences, I asked around and 
Mylo was universally identified as the right person to be involved,.  Although she was in Bolivia at the time 
(with UCSF students), she responded promptly, indicating her strong interest.  

She has my approval to do this during work hours.
