Cycle Closure - FY23-24

Thank you to all who participated in the FY23-24 cycle. The proposals were compelling and addressed a variety of priority health topics. This cycle is closed, and applicants were notified of the results. Three proposals were funded: 1) $260,000 over two years was awarded for "Poetic Medicine for Grief: Creating Safe Space for Diverse Stories of Loss – A Proposal for Building Racially-Tailored Bereavement Programs in two Mount Zion/SF BIPOC Communities," UCSF PI: Dr. Mike Rabow (UCSF MERI Center at MZ), in collaboration with Chinese American Coalition for Compassionate Care (CACCC) PI: Ms.

Thank you to everyone who submitted Proposal Concept/Phase 1 applications for MZHF's Community + UCSF Mount Zion Awards for the FY23-24 cycle deadline; Phase 1 is now completed. The Community + UCSF Mount Zion Awards Committee has reviewed the submitted Proposal Concepts and applicants received an email from Shelley Adler, Committee Chair, to share the outcome of their submission.
