I propose a “Faculty – Trainee Speed Dating” event that will enhance departmental cohesion and advance our educational programs by connecting faculty with trainees (post-doctoral fellows and PhD students). Faculty and trainees that attend would engage in a speed dating activity for the first 1-1.5 hours during which each person would have a few minutes to share their research and areas of expertise/interest.
