Facilities Services Incident Notification Tool

Proposal Status:

Facilities Services is one of the few departments on campus that responds to emergencies, and we need to be on the frontend on responding to Facilities incidents and emergencies to better support our buildings and building occupants. Prior to 2018, UCSF Facilities Services did not have any means to notify Facilities Services’ leadership of real-time Facilities incidents and emergency situations. By having an Incident Notification Tool, we can minimize the risk caused by emergencies and risk claims.

PROPOSAL SUMMARY/ABSTRACT

We propose the development of a novel curriculum for learners during their pediatric pulmonary elective focused on acquiring knowledge via active learning to enrich their pediatric pulmonary proficiency. In the pediatric pulmonary rotation, the most common feedback is that the clinical experience meets their needs, but formal education is lacking. As such, we propose a curriculum that will augment trainee’s clinical experience and involve an innovative interactive approach to optimize their education.
